Literature Text

I couldn’t anticipate your light
In the declaration of your ashes,
As I looked away...
Freedom called between the distance trees
And children on their way back home from school
In crowded streets
I felt the same from your atonement
Didn’t ask why the brief reflection
Didn’t show me as a real person...

I wondered beyond the years
In tracks of time,
Impressible days and winters spent
Still listening for the sound of your voice...
I could see the memory
An old reaction on my face
Of words I really meant to say...

I could not embrace that helpless part of me
That knows no human...
The compassionate beat in my heart for time
That kept us moving through life’s only discernment...

Did you hear them passing?
Or the sun, as it left the hour
Draining the day of warmth
I had become this ghost, as longed to be

Still waiting for your acknowledgment;

When will my mind rest for sure? -
In solace; none can breathe to be f o r e v e r
In some memory-
Some way to be remembered.

When will my mind rest for sure?

I wondered beyond the years
In tracks of time,
Impressible days and winters spent
Still listening for the sound of your voice...
I could see the memory
An old reaction on my face
Of words I really meant to say...

Can you hear me at all?

If I was still writing the story/book I started 2 years ago I belive I would have asked to use parts of it...
But I left it long long ago...
